Chocolate Chip Muffins with Chef Romain Avril

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup (5 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 cup milk at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips (or whatever chocolate you like!)

  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate

  • Bananas (3-5, can be more or less)
  • Apple (1-2)
  • Tahini (optional)
  • Strawberries or any berry on hand
  • Dried ingredients for desired toppings (coconut flakes, almonds, sunflower/pumpkin seeds, mulberries, dates, etc.)
