We want to put these together for you in ONE place. This is it: your one-stop shop where you can see upcoming online events, weekly classes and fields trips, and more, to help you through this difficult time.

Each week we’ll be highlighting new resources and links to help you explore new interests and opportunities. Make sure to check back every week, and see what new resources are available!

Featured Resources – June 1

This week Kids at Home is all about exploring new worlds. Solve video-riddles with your favourite characters from Wonderland, Baker Street, and Neverland. Then, take a virtual tour through Canada’s national Tulip Festival in Ottawa. Finish it off by creating your own world to explore with some engaging outdoor drama games and resources.

  • 260 grams flour (1.10 cups)
  • 2 grams salt (half a teaspoon)
  • 1.5 grams baking powder (one third of a teaspoon)
  • 1.5 grams baking soda (one third of a teaspoon)
  • 250 grams brown sugar (1 1/4 cup)
  • 225 grams chocolate (1 1/10 cup)
  • 38 grams butter (0.70 cups)

  • ¾ cup water
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries (other frozen or fresh berry would work too)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp potato starch (or pack pectin, serto or other thickening agent)

  • 1 tsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 100-150 ml pasta water
