The Road to National GrowthThe Kids Up Front Foundation (Canada) was incorporated in Calgary in 2006 as a public foundation to support the work of the regional Kids Up Front regional programs. The purpose is to protect the integrity, ethical conduct, policies and procedures, financial accountability, and program intent. An implemented idea creates endless possibilities for kidsFollowing two years of phenomenal successes in Calgary, Kids Up Front Foundation (Edmonton) was created. Continuing on the successes, Kids Up Front Foundation (Vancouver) was formed, and in incredibly nearly six years later, Kids Up Front Foundation (Toronto) opened their doors. The combination of a spark of an idea mixed with passionate make-it-happen people has resulted in thousands and thousands of magical opportunities reaching Canadian kids. An unused ticket is an empty seat and a lost opportunity. A gifted ticket becomes a healing tool, and a chance for a child and family to feel as if they "fit in" to their community, an opportunity to experience the unexperienced, to discover the undiscovered, and to explore their passions. It's nourishment to a child's spirit, and it's your ticket to make a difference.
