These statistics may amaze you, as they continually amaze us: since we started our program in 2000, we have helped our donors give more than four million dollars' worth of tickets to kids! We provide an average of 30 - 40 thousand ticket opportunities annually. It's all achieved with just two full-time positions, and an annual budget that is just over $150,000!
Kids Up Front's time is invested in providing the program, rather than fundraising initiatives, which is why YOUR tax-receiptable donations help in huge was to make significant differences in the lives of so many. How to Donate YOUR Tickets

Please tell us: What event, how many tickets, the value,and who is donating. If it is a personal ticket donation that qualifies for a charitable in-kind tax receipt, please provide a copy of your invoice and proof of payment and we'll take care of the rest. As we do not have a budget for couriers nor staff to pick them up, we rely on your help to get the tickets to us. Donors can mail, courier, or drop them off at our office (5th Floor, 630-3rd Avenue SW). Make sure to include your business card or donor information so we know where to forward the "thank you" cards and letters.
With your help getting the tickets into our hands, we can turn the tickets around within hours.
Ways YOU Can make a difference
1. Corporate Leader: Your company can make a 3-year commitment of support to the organization and become a Kids Up Front Leader.
2. Kids Count! Donate cash or provide activity opportunities that can make a ticket more than a ticket and create positive lifelong memories.
3. "Can't Use Your Ticket?" Donate the event tickets that you know you'll not be using. Or, provide a charitable donation which is needed to help facilitate this program.
4. Employee Matching Funds. Ask your Human Resources representative about the "Matching Funds" donation policy in your company.
5. United Way Self-Directed Funds. If you donate to the United Way, select the Kids Up Front Foundation in your personal "Self-Directed Donations."
The Kids Up Front Foundation's operations rely on financial support and ticket donations from corporate and public communities and special event fundraising.

Donate your event tickets!
Can't use your ticket? Donate your unused tickets to Kids Up Front and we'll redistribute them to kids efficiently, fairly and at no cost to the donor or the recipient. It's so simple and so incredibly beneficial to a family in crisis or a child in need.
1. Contact us by email, or phone 444-4246 or 1-866-654-3787 Monday through Friday. We can redistribute your ticket gifts within hours of an event. (Sorry, we are unable to provide a program on the weekends.)
2. A charitable in-kind tax receipt can be provided to qualified donors upon request and with correct documentation. Please note that GST and service fee amounts are not eligible for receipt.
Please note:
A Kids Up Front representative may attend certain events on a random basis for quality control and program evaluation purposes. Scalping in not tolerated! Strong processes are in place to safe-guard each donation.
- We can receive and distribute any amount of tickets, large or small, to any child-friendly event.
- There is NEVER a fee for our services.

Planned Giving
Planned giving
is a wonderful way to ensure that the Kids Up Front Foundation (Calgary) programs will continue to flourish. Perhaps there's a planned gift that suits you:
1. Make a Bequest in your Will: A portion of your estate can be directed to the Foundation which will provide a gift beyond your lifetime.
2. Charitable Gift Annuities: By purchasing an annuity, with the Foundation as a beneficiary, you will provide sustainable income payments for life.
3. Gifts of Securities: New government legislation has created taxable benefits for you, when gifts of publicly-trades securities are given to the Foundation.
4. Gifts of Life Insurance Policies: A very significant gift can be given without great personal expense, by purchasing a policy with the Foundation as the benefactor.
5. Charitable Remainder Trusts: Transfer cash or other assets into a trust account with fixed income payments or interest income and upon your death, the assets within the trust account are given to the Foundation.
6. Gifts of Property: Your will can include gifts of real estate, art pieces, and other assets that you and your beneficiaries retain the use of for a particular lifetime, then transfer to the Foundation.
